Community invited to celebrate longtime business leader Bright’s 80th birthday

Longtime Hendersonville businesswoman Bessie Brilliant has put in decades offering to her group, and now associates of the community will have their opportunity to clearly show their enjoy and appreciation.

Brilliant is turning 80 a long time old, and her unique birthday will be celebrated with a community-wide function from 6-9 p.m. Friday, May well 13 at the Hendersonville Elks Lodge, in accordance to a news release by WHKP 1450 AM, 107.7 FM.

There will be a dwell band “Three Amazing Cats,” and food stuff and cake will be served. No gifts are expected, but donations to the Hendersonville Enterprise and Qualified Women’s Scholarship will be recognized, the release claimed.

WHKP Vice President Richard Rhodes co-hosted WHKP’s Community News and Views display with Vivid for numerous decades though she labored for Spearman Furniture. He said “if you appear in a dictiionary under ‘community volunteer,’ you can expect to see a photograph of Bessie Shiny.”

“I know of no other person in Henderson County who has been so active for so extensive with services golf equipment,” Rhodes mentioned. “I know Bessie has held about each and every situation with the Daughters of Elkdom. She worked with Daughters of the American Revolution, the Hendersonville Small business and Experienced Women’s Club and the Hendersonville Retailers and Business Affiliation, also.
